“We have had Nordine Remoding work for us before, they have put in new windows ,enclosed our front porch and put siding on our home. It was very easy for me to go back to them them with this project. I enjoy the friendly, professional banter. I spoke with Dorothy first and told her what I wanted to do. Then Dorothy and I met with Mike Kearns. Mike came out to our home, measured asked questions. I told them I wanted the clutter gone, places to put everything, a laundry room and a new bathroom. Mike and Dorothy set to work. plans were made and drawn up, papers signed. I was told the Nordine crew would be there are Nov 20th. to start removing all the old. The guys were very professional, friendly and kept me informed. As expected a few glitches arose , my home was built in 1912. each time Mike or Dorothy and the crew took care of it. The guys did everything possible to keep the dust and yuck from the other parts of my home, before leaving for the day all area’s were swept and tools and stuff were out of the way. The carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters, and craftsmen I am thankful for your professionalism and pride in your work. Dorothy and Mike thank you for seeing, understanding and making my dream come true. I love the new kitchen, laundry and bathroom.. Believe me when I decide to remodel again, Nordine will be who I call”
“We had a problem with an ice dam on our garage roof. water flowing behind the waterproofing and into our garage. George explained in great detail what the cause was and we discussed several ways to address the issue. We agreed on a plan forward and a baseline estimate. The solution required two different subcontractors to work on our house, one to fix the waterproofing, another to work on our gutters. Both were friendly and experienced in their specific roles. After the work was done George contacted me again regarding a final price. Due to the short time it took to address our issues, the price ended up lower than the estimate.
All in all we were very satisfied with Nordine’s and the subcontractors the used. Found everyone we worked with to be forthcoming and fair.

“Nordine Remodeling replaced our roof several years ago and did an amazing job then. Recently, we noticed some leaking inside our garage (the ceiling) and notified them expecting the worse. They had someone out the very next day and cleared some leaves and other debris that had collected around our chimney causing the water to back up and come in. They cleaned it off and didn’t even charge us! OUTSTANDING service and yet another reason to call them when we have any other job we need done!”

“Called Nordine for work on a leaky sliding door and water getting in under siding. George and the office staff were great to work with. After the initial inspection and estimate we signed our contract and the work began. On the first day of the project major damage was discovered. Doug & John were able to get it fixed and put back together in just a couple days. The inconvenience was minimal and the craftsmanship was excellent. The are not the cheapest in town, but so few places are willing to tackle repairs and I wanted the job done right. I will use Nordine Remodeling again in the future and will gladly recommend them to anyone in the Bloomington/Normal area needing work. The price will be fair, you will be treated with respect, and the job will be done expertly.”
“We called them for an opinion on our roof and Casey came out and found multiple signs of hail damage. After submitting to our insurance they flatly rejected it saying normal wear and tear.
Casey didn’t accept that answer and he spent over a hour with an adjuster on our roof pointing out all the damage and they finally approved our claim. The work was done quickly and professionally at a very fair price.
Multiple times thru the process Casey demonstrated an ethical and responsible work ethic that showed he truly cared about taking care of his customer. I would highly recommend them for any project and I am confident the only reason we got our roof replaced was due to the extra effort they put in with our insurance company.”

The only real thing I knew was that I wanted a room addition with a lot of windows. When Nordine’s representative (Mike Kearns) came out, he helped me immediately and let me know what would and wouldn’t work. That initial meeting went so well, I decided I wanted Nordine’s to do the job. Your men installed Whirlybird vents in the roof of my home two years ago. I’ve been remiss in letting you know how happy I’ve been with those. They have completely eliminated the condensation problem I was having in the upstairs hallway of my tri-level home and have also reduced my electric bill in the summer. As you may recall, I like to keep my home’s temperature on the cold side. The Whirlybirds do a much better job of venting the really hot air from the upstairs attic and although they operate most of the time, I’ve never heard any sound from them! It’s always nice to pull in the driveway on a hot day and look up to see the vents in operation. Thank you for the recommendation; those are something I would have never thought to ask about, myself.”

It only took two days to get the roof put on! The old roof was stripped down to the plywood and hauled away by truck. No mess in the driveway since tarp was laid out. I was impressed with the crew- they were here at 6 AM both days to get the majority of the work done before the end of the day. Every night the driveway was cleared and cleaned. I’ve been telling everyone that Nordine’s did the work. Excellent job guys!”
I Love My Bathroom!Getting in and out of the tub was scary in my condition, so I had a walk in shower installed with 2 grab bars & adjustable/removable shower head. I DON’T like to shop so I just told Mike what I liked & he did a wonderful job coming up with tile & cabinets that I would love. He even had extra strong towel bars installed just in case I needed the support. The workers were fun to have around plus prompt, considerate, & cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in a very timely manner. The only problem is spending too much time in shower because it is so nice & relaxing!”
Met All Our Expectations! Joan & I were very comfortable when we first met George. I was thinking I needed to put new siding on the house, George assured me that we only needed to replace & repair certain areas of the siding. He did show me that replacing the roof & updating insulation would be a better investment. After discussing this we decided to have this done. I Couldn’t Believe How Fast. Thank you so much for coming over and redoing our roof. It was needed very badly and it was done with planning and advice from George. We didn’t realize there were so many choices in roofing supplies.When the weather finally allowed them to come and get the roof done, I couldn’t believe how fast it was stripped and re-papered ready for the shingles, which included repair work. The roofers came and went without any problems. I even climbed up on the roof to see what was happening (and asked if they could move the ladder to let me out of the garage). A Fine, Dependable Company That Does Quality Work. We called Nordine Remodeling because we wanted a screened porch instead of our 19 year old deck. Kevin & George listened to our ideas and concerns. We wanted a new screened room but were determined we would enhance the looks of our older stucco house. The porch needed to look like it “belonged” on the house, not like just an added room. They came up with some great ideas for us, showed us computer pictures of the future inside and outside of the porch. They were courteous and responsive to questions we had and were willing to make revisions yet stay within our budget. Once work began we were impressed with the quality of each team that came for their part of the work. Our simple idea of “just a new porch” was more involved and took longer than we expected but it was minimal in disruption for us. Workers came each day, were here all day and sometimes finished their work for the day in the dark! We know Nordine Remodeling is a fine, dependable company that does quality work. We would not hesitate to give them high recommendations to neighbors and friends.”

Like many home owners the replacement of a roof probably a one-time event. The estimate process was time consuming and confusing. My decision to choose your company was based on two factors. First, your meeting with me concerning all aspects of a roof and the replacement of same, was educational. George, you not only told me about your company’s process, but what to ask other contractors in their estimate process. This was invaluable. Second was word of mouth. George Nordine is completely honest. That unsolicited advice came from an appliance installer shortly after we moved into our house and were facing our first crisis-a badly leaking roof. Unlike other contractors we called, George responded quickly, and from then on through an extensive makeover of the house both inside and out he explained each step thoroughly, with options, and in terms we could understand. There was so much to do—roofing, house wrap, siding, windows, new furnace, plumbing additions, replacing a ceiling, moving a wall, flooring, carpet, windows, painting, making an enclosed porch into an all season room, transforming an unfinished attic into a two-room guest suite with half bath—it seemed overwhelming.
